Kris has been with the band since it began in 1984. Playing in the band for the last 25 years has turned Kris into a rockin bass player while she also managed to conquer the roles of Mommy, Wife, and Grammy, Home Cook, and Waitress at a local restaurant, Orlies, where she has worked for the past 27 years. 

Kris and Bill (the band’s founder- ‘Dad’!) have been married 39 years.  In addition to the son (Bill Jr.), daughter (Sherry), son-in-law (Matt), and grandson (David) that play in the band currently, Kris and Bill have three additional daughters, Cindy, Susie and Sarah, and nearly 20 other grand(and great-grand)children!

 At some point during its life, the band has been blessed with the talents and stage-presence of each of the Covert children.   And each season fans are excited to see which family members will be playing music for them!  As the mother, and helm, of this family ordeal, Kris remains both calm and CRAZY!  She just “loves to play music with her family”!
